Faith alone? Faith with deeds!
Some people may think that we can be saved by faith alone and not by keeping passover and sabbath. Let us look at the teachings of the Bible and let us not be deceived by the false prophets.
True Faith that saves us
Of course, without faith no one will be saved. Then what kinds of faith do you have?
James 2:14-26 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder. You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend. You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
What explanation do you need? Just by reading James chapter 2 we come to realise that there must be faith with deeds. Then what should we do with faith? We should do what God commanded us to do, which is the new covenant by which we can receive eternal life and forgiveness of sins.
What can you achieve doing nothing? To those who are ignorant and lazy nothing will be given. No truth, no life, no heaven... Let us press on to know God by studying the Bible until the morning star rises in our hearts!
Today, there are so many people who claim to believe in God, but do not keep the commands of God. What would God say to those people? In Matthew Jesus already gave answer to those people. He said, Away from me, you who practice the lawlessness. They cannot enter the kingdom of heaven because they did not obey the commands of God. The true faith always accompany action by following the commands.
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
What thoughts do you have after reading the three verses?
Believing only in words is not complete faith. If you truly believe in God, you must offer God's commandments as worship.
If you want to receive the blessing of salvation and forgiveness of sins, you must hold worship services.
In order to have something to do with God, we must worship.
The members of the Church of God are a church that practices all the words of God the Mother.
From Mother's Teachings to keeping God's commandments, we are practicing everything.
He acted while claiming that he had faith in God the Mother. He said that if there is no practice, it is death faith. It is said that faith without works is dead, so faith must have action, which is practice.
We keep the Passover because God told us to keep the Passover, and we keep the Sabbath because God told us to keep the Sabbath. In other words, they are the members of the Church of God who are practicing.
The Bible said that Faith without deeds is useless.
We have Faith for Christ our savior and deeds to keep the Word of God.
So we never receive the salvation without keeping the Sabbath and Passover.
Faith without action is a dead faith. Do it with faith and be saved.
What is faith for a Christian? Faith is living according to the Word of God. If you don't live by the Word, it's not faith, it's religion. According to the prophecies of the Bible, God's people must keep God's commandments.
You must live a life of faith in God, not a religious life that says you will believe on your own.
There's a saying that you can't get it without doing it.
The same is true of spirituality.
How will he be blessed if he who wants to be blessed by God does nothing.
Like we need to do something to get something
In order to be blessed by God, there must be what God wants.
